PARA 1 : I earnestly hope and you and your wonderful family are blithe and in fine fettle. I am dropping you a line to tell you about the fun filled picnic I went for with my family.

One morning , I stretched my indolent arms. I yawned as loudly as a lion’s roar. I yawned again this time like an adorable kitten’s soft yawn. I scratched my head like a monkey wondering what day it was.

In the blink of an eye, I remembered that it was the day of the expedition because I had burnt the midnight oil and passed my assessments with flying colours. I pranced out of my bed and at the drop of the hat I got ready. I ran like a deer downstairs and saw my mother packing scrumptious food which made my mouth drool like a waterfall. We were going to Alam Zoo. Alam Zoo was a stone’s throw away so we reached in 5 minutes. Alam Zoo was as prodigious as an airport. There was greenery all around . We saw a bevy of deer running as fast as lightning to the pristine water which was as cold as ice to quench their thirst. We saw a troop of monkeys climb trees and caper from one tree to another for bananas that made us guffaw. We heard the roar of the lion which have me goose bumps. Then we ate the lip smacking food and sweetmeats which were as sweet as candy. Then it was time to leave. With heavy hearts and feeling down in the mouth, we departed from there with jubilant memories etched in our minds like a scar.
